Bugera is a Moscow-based sustainable upcycle brand creating clothing and accessories with a distinct authorial character. The brand stands for a conscious approach to fashion and materials: every piece goes through a long journey — from developing unique patterns and sourcing materials to hand-made prints and tailoring. One of Bugera's core principles is customization, turning familiar objects into standalone art pieces.

OVERVIEW

OVERVIEW

The video was made for a special line of glasses that the brand's founder customizes by hand — piercing the lenses and inserting metal rings, transforming the accessory into a statement piece with a punk-driven aesthetic.

Create an atmospheric video that captures the individuality of the customized glasses and communicates the brand's DNA — attention to detail, tactility, and an unconventional take on everyday objects.

The 3D model of the glasses was refined and animated in Cinema 4D, with careful work on the glass material, metal rings, and the overall mood of the scene. Compositing, color grading, and shot assembly were done in After Effects. The footage was then handed over to my colleague and friend Vladimir Nikitin, who edited it into the final piece.
